Launch of Petition to Scottish Parliament. Which took place on 5th April at the Tollbooth Lanark. It was a great success.  This petition is to urge the Scottish Government, to recognise and promote, the positive impacts that befriending services to adults with learning disabilities have on its Same As You Strategy. To ensure the provision of adequate funding to support befriending opportunities and promote social inclusion.

This event was attended by Karen Gillon MSP and Mary McNeill our local councillor. They both joined in on the day by collecting signatures and helping us out.  There help is much appreciated  and we thank them for taking time out for us, from their busy schedules. We thank all those from the community who signed our forms and made contributions via the tombola and  refreshments. More signatures are required so please telephone Christine or Julie for a signature form to sign.

Welcome to Julie our new administator.

Congratulations to CBG!!!!

An award of £240,928 funding from the National Lottery for the next three years was announced in January. A further £19,000 was awarded by TSB Scotland.
